A Note from Kyle Juday

I started IBEX Interiors because remodeling homes isn’t just a job—it’s my passion. I’ve spent my entire career working in high-end homes, and I’ve watched as true quality craftsmanship has been sacrificed in pursuit of profit. I refuse to cut corners. I was trained in the old-school way of doing things, where attention to detail and pride in workmanship mattered, and I carry those values into every project today.

My journey started in college, working for an exterior remodeling company installing roofing, siding, windows, and doors. From there, I gained experience in nearly every aspect of home construction—final punch-out work, framing, and eventually, interior trim carpentry. It was in high-end, multimillion-dollar homes that I truly found my passion for woodworking and custom interior finishes. Over the years, I mastered the art of interior carpentry, specializing in trim work, wainscoting, coffered ceilings, and custom cabinetry.

I eventually branched out, starting my own business as a master interior carpenter. At the same time, I pursued a second career as a licensed residential home inspector. However, when the 2008 housing market crash hit, both businesses suffered. I adapted, moving to Florida to manage and maintain multiple coastal properties, gaining invaluable experience in home maintenance and repair.

When the market rebounded, I returned home to Noblesville. I worked in fire and flood restoration, earned my insurance adjuster’s license, and restarted my woodworking business. An opportunity then arose to work as a project manager for a high-end remodeling company in Hamilton County. It was here that everything I had learned—carpentry, project management, inspections, restoration—came together, and I realized that this was what I was meant to do.

After years of experience, I knew I could do it better. I wanted to bring true craftsmanship back to home remodeling, and in 2023, I took the leap and founded IBEX Interiors.
